Dear Mayor:
As you know, the Association West Park Neighborhood has been working with several councils of the municipality. In particular in recent years we have maintained good cooperation with the Department of Security, and it has emerged reorganization plan document from the pedestrian Utrecht and Rotterdam, as well as Liverpool Street expected. This plan specifically you quoted in your visit to our neighborhood a few days ago we had occasion, about three years ago, to check on the street with part of your team.
The truth is that the local police task force produced a report and proposal on the streets and Rotterdaam Utrecht last October. This plan was qualified in some points for our association and was referred, as we informed the police chief, Sergio, the Urban Area, the competent for execution. Of what is now over four months and honestly believe it is time the council gets to work and to deliver as promised to the neighbors, without going any further on your last visit to the neighborhood a few weeks ago. This proposal did not involve almost no work (the installation of a strip of curb to curb), with something signage and several small furniture items. We believe it is a simple action execution and lowest cost. That is why this delay greatly surprise us and bother us that lack of respect for the neighbors claiming things promised by the government team three years ago, incredibly long time to resolve a simple issue. When we have the document approved in October, do not understand why the issue now stands in urban planning. The neighbors are asking us that this issue is resolved now and we can not understand why is not resolved when you know what you want and also feasible. We refuse to let this become a point of the PSOE's election proposal for next year. It is a commitment of previous legislatures, and we refuse to locate it further.
