2011 the International Year of Forests

The General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the resolution declaring the 2011 International Year of Forests. This conclusion is useful to become more aware that forests are an integral part of sustainable development of the planet due to the economic, sociocultural and environmental factors that provide. To this end, promote international action towards sustainable management, conservation and development of all types of forests, including trees outside.
